The Association of People Professionals (APPNZ) was formed to provide the following:

APPNZ was built by Advisory Panels in HR, Payroll and Learning & Development who worked to create frameworks for our professional development programmes, certification and chartering processes and to build a new community for the people professions.
Our four membership categories are:
2018 Strategic Goals
1. Launch new membership model and pathway.
Outcome: Provide a clear path for people professionals to become Certified and Chartered. This will be an internationally recognised standard through APPNZ
having an ISO Accredited process.
2. Run public marketing campaign for business recognition.
Outcome: Businesses understand the value and expertise that Certified and Chartered people professionals can add to their business.
3. Launch professional development programme.
Outcome: Flexible, learner led qualifications and training are provided for individuals and teams to up skill and increase knowledge and as a pathway to Certification or Chartering.
4. Create a sense of community through leadership, communications, networks and resources.
Outcome: People professionals feel part of APPNZ and are engaged and supported to participate.
