Kellie has an HR career spanning over 17 years across a

variety of industries – private sector, not for profit and

government. She has held roles in Europe and NZ

including HR Director for the Service Delivery arm of the Ministry of Social Development.

Kellie has studied Design Thinking at Stanford University and is passionate about the difference this can make to HR practice and our community. Kellie sees this as a tool anyone can use to transform teams, process and culture.

Fiona has worked in the Technology, Banking and Insurance sectors for two decades, leading and coaching businesses in NZ, Australia, the UK and Asia to design and deliver strategies and cultures that create differentiated competitive advantage. She believes passionately that winning through people is one of the ‘final frontiers’ of business.

Fiona completed her MBA at the University of Auckland in December 2015, and includes in her career highlights being elected class speaker for her Harvard Business School graduation, leading the recipients of the Australian Human Resources Institute’s Workplace Relations Award in 2012, and being named the Australian Human Resources Institute’s Dave Ulrich HR Leader or the Year in 2015.

Shaun Sheldrake,

Shaun is a learning and development professional with 20+ years experience across corporate, consulting services and not for profit sectors.

His focus on improving business performance is achieved by influencing individual on-the-job perfor-mance through learning.

He has worked with many senior leadership teams and created learning models, solutions and approaches to create more engaging, faster, more scalable learning with tangible results for organisations.

 Diana Burns,

 Consultant, Write Limited

Diana’s specialty is persuasive writing — how to create proposals, business cases, and bids that give you a competitive edge. If you’re an executive, Diana can coach you in presentation skills, so you’re prepared for a high-stakes presentation. Diana has also worked on preparing strategy documents and she also develops and delivers bespoke workshops.

Participants love the energy, warmth, and extensive knowledge she brings to their learning experience. Out of hours, Diana loves all things Spanish and is a fluent Spanish speaker.

At a senior level, HR must demonstrate effective leadership and work with managers and executive teams to develop and implement people strategies.

Our panel of HR leaders and experts will be sharing the trials and tribulations on working in this area, and sharing tools and techniques on how to be an effective leader and get engagement into people strategy in your business.
