Before APPNZ, there has been no regulation for the HR, Learning & Development or Payroll professions in New Zealand. APPNZ is the only regulatory body these professions and provides accreditation and chartering.
Accredited HR, L&D or Payroll Professionals have to
pass the following:
An assessment of having significant on the job experience in their field
An exam to test their knowledge of legislation and processes in their field
A practical test of applying their skill
Chartered People Professionals have to
also pass the following:
A panel assessment of their strategic management skills and experience of implementing strategic initiatives
If you are a CEO, Business Owner or Manager - make sure that your HR, Payroll or Learning team are APPNZ Accredited or Chartered, and you’ll know they have the experience and knowledge to deliver.
